Animal studies have shown that using ONCONASE alone effectively kills cancer cells with manageable toxicity. ONCONASE improves radiation response and enhances the efficacy of commonly used chemotherapeutic agents (such as cisplatin and carboplatin) in human NSCLC xenografts of nude mice.
